I am a Malaysian-Australian painter and illustrator based in Naarm (Melbourne). I create playful, story-filled artworks inspired by home, belonging, and the little things in everyday life that make us smile.

I am a self-taught (mostly) artist, now in my third year of running my art practice full-time. Before becoming an artist, I worked in corporate roles centred on problem-solving, communication, and strategy. While it was a very different chapter of my life, it taught me a lot about people, communication, and curiosity... things that continue to shape the way I create and connect.

In 2019, I went to Italy to study art... and also to figure out what I wanted to do with my life! Surrounded by beauty, history, and a city full of stories, I realised I could not keep putting art off. I told myself, "I'd better do this now before I regret it" and that decision changed everything.

My work is rooted in storytelling, using everyday details... objects, architecture, rituals, and small cultural cues... to capture the nostalgia, joy, and sense of connection that make a city, a memory, or a moment feel meaningful. I am especially inspired by multicultural city life and the many ways culture, memory, and belonging show up in everyday life. I use ink and black watercolour to build depth, sometimes adding colour to draw attention to key parts of the story.

Alongside these works, I also create personalised commission artworks through Your Stories, Illustrated, where I turn people's memories, milestones, and inside jokes into one-of-a-kind pieces. I also paint my Very Tiny Artwork - very very small, vibrant original painting inspired by nostalgic subjects like food, pets, animals, and everyday things that make people happy.

More than anything, I want my work to feel joyful, personal, and full of meaning - whether it reminds someone of a place they love, captures a story worth celebrating, or simply makes them smile every time they walk past it.
