Hello, I’m Mary, a Malaysian-born Australian illustrator and painter based in Naarm (Melbourne).

My work is inspired by the small but meaningful moments that make up a life: nostalgia, inside jokes, shared meals, and the everyday things that quietly bring us joy. Guided by memory, imagination, and observation, I often weave food and familiar details into playful, story-filled compositions.

I’m drawn to themes of home, belonging, and connection, and I enjoy capturing these feelings in ways that feel intimate, whimsical, and gently humorous.

Whether I’m creating personal commissions or working on new pieces, my intention is always the same: to make art that feels thoughtful and deeply cared for. Pieces that hold stories and can be cherished for years to come.
